Hi all,

This is the first time I've had a cast on. I have been elevating my leg since the operation, varying heights from propped up on 2 to 3 pillows when lying on the sofa.
The thing is, I am experiencing a hot tingling feeeling on my heel, it is around the back/bottom of my heel on the RH side. It is not painful as such, just annoying. Has anyone else experienced this and is it normal, I am worried it could be the beginning of a pressure sore.

Cheers

Rob

If you call Nhs direct it is likely to cost you a fortune and they will probably tell you to ring/visit A&E or your local walk in centre.

    Delboy,

the cast has been on since wednesday. I have no pins and needles, can wiggle my toes okay and they are a normal colour and no numbness. It is only a small area around the back of the heel which feels hot.
