A shower is a light sprinkle of rain. Rain is an all out downpour.....

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

There isn't a set time; the changeover comes when you discover that you need your umbrella, but it didn't look like rain when you left the house so you didn't bring it with you.

Anyway, the rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain, doesn't it :?:

A shower is brief. Rain is continuous. DD

We rally do love rain here It only rains about 10 days a year so when it does it saves us a fortune in irrigation.

Whereas for us ten days without rain is considered a result! I do miss the green-ness of the UK tho, when we do go somewhere hot. DD

I used to work the dogs, on a shoot run by one of the top London Gunmakers........Just north of Stranraer....

To the north you could see Alisa Graig........Thats a rock sticking out of the sea......

We used to tell the American visitors, you could tell the weather by it.....

If you could see it, it was going to rain......

If you couldn't see it...................It was already raining......

Usually took several minutes for it to sink in.........sometimes even days........

I used to clamber up those rock faces with Dill and enjoy every minute......
