That's the plan, anyway as I think the infection has cleared. I shall have a whack of that at about 9pm, then a top-up of meth on Wednesday morning. I wonder if I will be snuffling again by Friday? Hope not! DD

Jeez, woman, you really know how to live.

For what it's worth, I've cracked the meth/sore throat thing. If staying in raw garlic. If going out, forget garlic, go for 3 glasses wine.

Hope it goes well for you.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oh me too - it's big week for Mr DD and me, one way or another, so I would like to feel a tiny bit better. Luckily I know that I won't feel fantastic (never have on these meds, never will) but a thicker end of the humira wedge would be appreciated. We'll wait and see, yes? Thank you, poppy and sticky, for your good wishes. DD

Bless you everyone, for taking the time and effort to reply. I shall do the dread deed at about 9pm (Mr DD gets in at about 8.15, then we have to eat and I have to clear up) - once done I can waft off to bed in a fragrant cloud of baby powder and he brings me a cuppa. Then, if I bleat and mewl just the right amount I get another one. A cynical exploitation of my arthritis? You betcha - I am feeling feeble today (which is unusual for me) and require a little pampering. I shall make damn sure I get it.

I don't like honey - sorry bertyboy, I have no doubt you are right but I dislike the texture.

    HI DD

hoping by now that you are blissfully sleeping and letting the humira do its work.

It better had do its work this time .... you've had far too much of the thin end of the Humira wedge for far too long!

fingers crossed for you and that your week goes the way you wish for it to go.

    take care

Morning to you both, wonky and tjt, and thank you. Nothing to report as yet, no progress, no deterioration, so, much as ever really! I do wonder if my health trust is wasting its money on me - I am certain there are other patients in my rheumatology unit who would benefit far more from humira than me. Never mind, it is what it is, and it will do what it will do. And I cannot change any of it. DD

    errrrrrr miss dd
The health trust are certainly not wasting their money on you. The humira does help a little I am sure.
You just hang in there....You have missed a few meds recently so now they have to start working again.
Keep up with the uni cycle....you will get there

    Hey DD

Wot a lotta rot!!!! You are absolutely NOT wasting the health trust's money - so there!

Sorry you haven't, so far, got back to the thick end of the Humira wedge. I wonder if it will take a bit of time, given that you have been without it for a few weeks...

Chin up chuck - am thinking of you.

    Love Tilly xxx

The nails are looking fab. Having humira'd last night I have, of course, spent the entire day doing the can-can. DD
