Our beloved Jelly dog fell asleep for the last the last time at 2.45 today with some of the people who loved her surrounding her.

    Oh bugger I'm sorry, we have two dogs and boy do they get under your skin love em to bits and they know it, god knows what it's going to be like when they go,I know for a fact it will be me who has to deal with it and I'm not sure I wont cry me heart out on the day, big hard rough neck power station worker not!.

    Hi Kate and family.
    i'm very sorry i know what its like you loved jelly so you did the right thing for him.
    you have some lovely memories of him and he wont be in pain
    any more because you thought of him and not you.
    its a very hard thing to do but we do it because we love them
    and put them first.

    I know they say that time heals but by golly it takes some time.Six months after our beloved Sainz died Ceri and I went on holiday to Menorca We were sitting in a cafe having a beer and we got to talking about him Two minutes later we were both in floods of tears.We both really feel for you.We didn't really get over our grief until we adopted our lovely little Spanish strays All I can say is RIP Jelly :cry::cry::cry:

    My Dear Friends,

    Thank you for all your messages of sympathy and support. It really helped to know so many friends were thinking of us.

    We are all still very 'Raw'. We took the advise of the majority of you and told Sarah the truth. She is still very upset and has cried an awful lot. We have let her see us cry as well so that she knows it is ok to feel as she does. We have also explained that we were with Jelly when the time came.

    So once again thank you all you messages will always be with me.

    im sorry to hear about jelly, as for little one how about planting a rose bush, little one can put a good bye letter under it or attach a letter to a balloon and let it go. use it as a means for her to say goodbye.
