    Your paintings are very good! wish I could paint or for that matter do any thing craft wise - just dont have a talent in that area at all

    Really beautiful, Joseph :grin: I love the way you take the eye into the picture, and also your use of vibrant colour. Excellent :!:

    Sorry, but I don't know whereabouts in France the places are and I've never been there. They were both commissions, specially painted from someone's holiday photographs.

    Well, heavens to Betsey our Joseph, you just get better and better. The clarity of the light is astonishing - so different to even the brightest days here on our gloom-enshrouded little island. Whoever they are, they are lucky people to have those on their walls! DD

    DD, I'm the lucky owner of two of Joseph's paintings too, and they are a constant source of pleasure to me. They are both seascapes; one of a very stormy sea with a lighthouse, and the other a very calm sea, and I love them both equally. I wish I had a fraction of Joseph's talent.

    I'm envious wish I had a few spare hours as I haven't had a chance to sit down brush in hand for ages now and I really miss it
