As a follow up to my last posting concerning my possible ankle replacement.
It was mentioned at my consultation that the operation would not entail the wearing of a plaster cast, but a dressing. :???:
Have any of you out there come across this,I know it wasn't my imagination since I had another pair of ears with me. :?:
Would be interested to know!

Hi Ron,
I don't know what the replacement will involved but i had my ankle plated after a bad break and initially it wasn't in plaster. It went into to plaster after two weeks and be honest it hurt so much less till it was taken off again.
I think you did hear right as the replacement would need to be given gentle exercise fairly early on and they couldn't do that through a cast.
When is it being done? keep us posted please. Cris x0 -
