Hello all ,
looks like the sun is out here in Kent .
I have recently been diagnosed at last with sero positive RA and now Psioratic Arthritis too .I am on Incap:(
I struggle most of the time but have spent the last 2 years as a volunteer adviser at the local CAB (I am a benefits specialist), and i am Social Policy coordinator there too . So am heavily involved with evidence gathering for the ongoing tirade of Welfare Reform and Legal aid Reform.
On MTX , Leflunomide , Pregabalin, Amitriptylne, etc etc , and hope a combination is found soon that allows me to work
Hope to get involved here aswell as the NRAS where i am a member too>:)
Love Photography when i can get out and about

Hello Rich C, it's nice to meet you. I too have PA and am on a luvverly cocktail of meds, my favourite of which I have just realised I haven't taken - I must go and do that! I am sort-of working, I am self-employed and my business is gradually decreasing as my ability to do it lessens but hey-ho, that's life with arthritis. It's good to hear that you are keeping yourself busy and I hope that can continue. Here's to the meds making a proper difference to your health and your being able to get back into the world of paid employment. I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Thanks for the welcome DD and tjt
hehe what gets me is that the consultants are always so sure that the next mix of drugs will work .. sometimes i wish they would leave the positive thinking to me , as i am better at it than they arehehe

Keep takin the meds .. and at the right time DD0 -
Oh believe me I usually do, but the excitement of today being my 52nd birthday affected me so I forgot.
I have yet to meet a rheumatologist (and I have met a few) who is on the same meds as me: I reckon they all take summat different (and much nicer) hence the unbounded optimism about what their wonderful medications will do for one.
