Very painful day

I have to say, I haven't felt this much pain in a good while.

My knees are considerably swollen and well in agony. I cant take any of my pain meds today due to being rather "bunged" up. And well most pain meds cause that. So I am relying on Paracetamol and Diclafenic.

Day in bed methinks, to give my legs a rest. Need to be in ship shape soon though.

Hopefully this is just my usual 24hr pain and not a week of pain.

For that 'bungedupness' drink lots (They say water's best but....) and eats lots of fruit & veg.

For sore knees - as you say, rest them.

Sometimes we just have to be annoyingly sensible. Hope it gets better soon.

I feel for you Pamie, my knee is swollen and sore and I only had it drained and steroided recently.
I take senna if 'bunged up' doesn't interfere with my meth,Sulfa or tramadol but does help.
Duvet day sounds sensible, thinking of you Poppy X

I am so glad that I am not the only one who suffers from being 'bunged up'.

I have been to my doctors today because of afforementioned symptom and I have been prescribed senna and lactalose.

I never knew that you could be 'loose' and still be 'bunged up' but I am!!

Anyway, I hope you are back on your feet soon and if you still have the problem try talking to your doctor and see if he will prescribe something for you.

try ben1fibre, it's a powder, almost tasteless, I can't stand the lacto stuff... Works well for me.. Even worked when I was on lots of dihydrocodiene too..

Plus, you can buy trial size sachets to give it a go first as it is quite costly.
  :lol: We even give it to Ra  Obviously after asking the vet etc.. He gets bunged up too.. Lol

I used to suffer from being bunged up and was given senna or lactulose but always found that fresh orange juice would sort it out for me and it cleared the pipes comfortably.
