I'd love to open my own nursery, that way I still get to play and cuddle the little ones, but unlike childminding you've got someone else to help and talk to.
Still think I might do it if I can get the PA under control... Food for thought.

You're on Jo-Ann!
Its a physically demanding job being a Childminder, but I loved every 15yrs of it. I still get visits, cards and invited to lots of parties by all my Childminded children, the eldest is 17 and 6ft 2! but to me he's still the little baby I looked after alongside my own son!
I think it would be a shame to waste all my experience, so thankyou Jo-Ann you've just planted the seed of a very good idea! Promise I'll give you a job looking after tiddly ones!!

I had the perfect job working at at a residential school for children with emotional and learning problems from 1979 - 1988 It was like been on holiday 52 weeks a year because it was such good fun - camping canoeing trampolining mixed with life skills training I loved it and loved the kids place close down but still keep in touch with kids and staff, It was in Vals home Town!
These days an ideal job would be i hour a day with half an hour for lunch!

I have it already, I love doing it and the fact that I shall have to stop sooner rather than later is distressing. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

my perfect job would be just caring for unwanted dogs and rehoming  However my next perfect job is what I have now, kiddies nursery,I just love it and it so good to be back into, because I am still on a partial type sick leave,I get to do what I want, and am loving every minuit, kids are great,so funny and sweet, such a shame some will grow up as awfull human beings. It will break my heart the day I have to leave which will be soon,as being evicted from my beautifull cottage to relocate 200miles away   Mirabella0
