I was beginning to feel slightly anxious - my badge expires tomorrow and I did send in my application five weeks ago. My new one has just arrived - hoorah! I don't, however, recognise the haggard old bag in the picture on the back. Apparently it's me.

Hi DD glad you got your badge...when I got my first one...we went to the seaside.....my OH put the badge in the car with my pic facing outward....I told him you put it the other way up.....he promptly said..yeah but this way it will scare the seagulls from the car.... :evil

Love shows itself in many guises, doesn't it? I must admit I woud be lost without my BB but I would send it back in a heartbeat if I could. I hope all is as well with you today as it can be - I had thought about heading for the den tonight but I am so tired I think I will go to bed instead! DD

    Phew!!

We risked being out in school minibus with out of date badge and put a note in the windscreen saying waiting for replacement .... seemed ok in disabled bays at venues, but don't think I'd risk it on double yellow lines/at a meter etc

As for the photo - who cares!! You have to place it photo down, anyway!

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.
