Hi Cathy
So sorry you have had a bad night, My sister used to play musical beds when her 3 were young, it was daft but only way anyone got any sleep lol
Hope the DLA assessment goes ok, I have just applied and been warned that I am likely to have a Doctor visit before any decision is made.
Let us know how it goes won't you?

Good luck from me too. I hope you are okay as that was a nasty fall. Was it due to tiredness or did your knee just buckle under you?

Hope things go well for you today.
Sorry you had a bad night with the litteun and sorry to hear that you fell down the stairs.
As the others have said maybe its a good thing that things havent been going well for you as you head to your assessment. I only hope that things go well in your assessment.

Im back after my 80 mile trip, made sure i claimed that back! not sure how the assesment went she kept firing questions at me  my knee is now black and the size of a coconut!0
-
Oh dear better get some ice on your leg I think and get it rested!
So how was the DLA assessment was this for a new claim, I have heard uite alot of people on here very distressed about it - particularly when they get the report that has been innacurate.
Cath0 -
At least its over now and you can relax abit, i hope your knee isnt too sore and that you little one is ok with earache now, ive had 2 kids home with full blown flu since monday. theyre not even fit to get out of bed, calpol unfortunately not doing anything! At least theyre sleeping all night now though. Doc says theyre doing ok just going to take time.
Hope you get a good result from DLA, im awaiting result myself,

it was horrible,it was my first claim,it didnt help that i couldnt understand a word she said lol, will just have to keep my fingers crossed,we might have to take katie to the hospital, its annoying that surgerys are not open at weekends0
-
Do you not have a walk in surgery in the area? We have a walk in surgery which is near to the hospital and is open 8am to 8pm everyday. I think the only time it closed was Christmas Day but I am not entirely sure that it closed then.
I thought it was a standard practice for these sorts of surgeries around the countryJaki0 -
You really should get that knee looked at...ice and rest is also a great idea.0
-
Oh poor Katie and poor you! What a day you are having! If you dont have a walk in sugery isn't there a chance you could call a GP out, other than that you are probably going to be stuck in A&E for hours!
Cath0 -
oh here we go...im off out again off to take katie to the hospital to see the seadoc!!!what a day lol!!!!
need a whiskey when i get back0 -
i hope it a better evening for you rest up and get some ice on knee valval0
-
I'll have the whisky waiting for you on your return! you deserve it after the day you have had -- in fact I'll leave you the bottle!
Cath0 -
It is annoying i know, but she'll be seen by a doc and sent home with appropriate meds, earache is awfull but if she gets antibiotics they soon kick in. When she goes to sleep raise her pillows so shes not lying down, try a warm water bottle if she can stand it. Gently on her ear. this can help a bit, and if you have decongestant at home put plenty oh her chest and back, sounds odd but helps if its caused by congestion. 3 of my kids all have had earaches several times. Last one docs have given up giving meds too as dont work. So we just have to hope it doesnt last long! HOpe your knee and katie are better soon,
Seamonkey0 -
we are finally back...shes got a very high temp and nasty ear so we've got anti biotics and calpol and also nurophen so fingers crossed they start kicking in soon...im battered and bruised my poor hubby looking after me and katie lol
Thanks for the bottle of whisky cath ive downed it in one hic.......0 -
Hope you are both recovering now,
Best wishes.
