Hi,
did anyone out there listen to a program on Radio 4 regarding Arthritis between Mon & Fri (14th - 18th Feb).
My partner listened to it, but can't remember who was being interviewed. One of the topics discussed was (??) homeopathic treatment for arthritis & pain that doesn't cause stomach upset.
I have OA, but also get reflux (Acid), which means that I can't take NSAIDS e.g. ibuprofen, aspirin etc . . .
I do take glucosamine & chondroitin + Omega 3.
cheers
Diz

Hi lizporter, I missed that programme but I do wonder if it would be drifting about on the web somewhere on the BBC's site? You could try a search on there and see what comes up.

I tried homeopathic treatment for about a year, whilst I was waiting for a diagnosis of what was causing my knee problems. The homeopath didn't recognise what was wrong and I wish I could say that her treatment helped, but I cannot - mind you, it turned out that I don't have OA and we are all very different in how we react to medical drugs as well as the 'non-medical' (for want of a better term). I wish you well and I hope you can find something to help. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

    Hi Diz

Unfortunately I think you are too late to find it because it is well over two weeks ago.
