Hi all , well the driving lesson is over now, forgot a couple of things , I slow down when coming to a bend , the instructor says I dont need too ( I dont like going round it at 30mph, the steering wheel was sore on me today ( but then I have missed getting used to it ) a few more lessons should get me up to the level I was , near crashed today ( not my fault the driving instructor told me wrong information. We were coming to a round about and he said just go stright on no cars coming , well this car had singalled that he was going left but must have changed and near ran into me I saw him coming and slowed down but the instructor was trying to use the cluth he was worried as he could not get it back up ( silly fool could have stalled my car ( he said sorry was my fault there ( I looked at him a boy was he sweating , I asked him if he was ok , he said yes are you ok I said , it is only sinking in now we near crashed and I had only got the car back.

At least your back behind the wheel of your car.....
I'm afraid 'near misses' are part of driving now......on a daily basis...
Just remember 'The only one you can trust.....is yourself'....
Even if your instructor says its OK..........Always check for yourself.....
Seems like you are making progress though.......keep it up....Rob0 -

Made me laugh too.
As Rob said you can only trust yourself and you did a good job avoiding an accident if you ask me.

I thought so too Elizabeth, I could have speeded round the roundabout but once I saw the car I slowed down. just glad the car did not bang into it .
