Oh my,
Another day with kids off school, 3 today. 2 been ill for 10 days and 1 started today. Ive never had ill kids who couldn't and didn't want to get out of bed for 3 whole days!
Doing what doc says plenty of fluids etc....
They're getting better slowly just taking so long. poor things.
Trouble is their beds upstairs and im really not good at using them!
Forums at least allowing me to have adult contact!

Any chance of you bringing the kids downstairs and making up makeshift beds Seamonkey? This at least would make things easier for you.

I hope they're better soon.

    Thanks for reply,
I tend to manage to get them down for an hr at tea time before they go to bed for the night. They dont find laying downstairs at all comfy.
    Prefer their own beds.
Few more days and they will surely manage to sit up

That sounds like proper flu, it does knock one off one's feet. You are doing all the right things but whether they would want to leave their beds if they are feeling so rough - perhaps you could entice them into the sitting room - do you have a sofa bed they could use? You might be able to fit them all into one place then! I hope they start to improve soon - don't you catch it, it's the last thing you need. DD

Hi all, i am terrified i will get it days spent lying down would mean my back would be so sore and stiff, it certainly is proper flu although i think eldest daughter has it so bad as she has developed an eating disorder and hasnt been eating much over past few months. The weight is now dropping off her and its saddening to see. I went shop to get things they had asked for , food and drink, Cost 8.00 but worth is just to see them eating and drinking.
Our sofas are small and uncomfy but im spending alot of time upstairs just things from kitchen i need to go down for.
At least it will be by for for the easter break.

God sounds like they really have bad flue. A couple of friends of mine said there kids were the same. Thankfully no one in owe house has had it.
I must admit if you feel poorly all you want is your own bed. Could you not do up a cooler box at the start of the day with drinks and food (flask for hot drinks) and stay upstairs yourself....have a couple of lazy days watching tv in bed!!!!!!!

Ha that i would do if i didnt have other kids who need to go school and general housekeeping need doing.
Son back to school today. couldnt have been what the girls have. Although theyre doing much better. Have progressed to sitting room this aft. Managing to sit up now and to walk a bit. Cant see them being at school this week though. Poor things.
I dont know of any others in our area that have been hit so hard. Granted theres been nasty bugs going but generally kids been off for couple of days not 11.
Never mind at least their on the mend slowly.
