Hi

Just seen the actor above who is in Emmerdale....We are quite used to him coming to our local Asda as he lives in Ingleton which is about an hour away from me.....Everyone was cooing and awing but i think its embarassing if you approach someone who is an actor....
He was also behind me in the car park driving a 57 plate ford focus (thought he'd have a nicer car than that) and he didnt take up a parent and child place depsite having his young son with him...

Also seen Jim off the Royle Famiy in Bowness a few years ago and he looks as filthy as his alter ego...URGH!!!

Following one of my TV appearances some time ago, I think that it was on The One Show, I went shopping at our local supermarket. I could see people nudging each other and saying, "Is it REALLY him off the TV", I just took no notice and carried on shopping pushing my trolley.

Then when I reached the end of an aisle and turned the corner, a man carrying a basket glanced at me. His mouth dropped open and he just stood and stared at me. So I shuffled a few packs about on the shelf and carried on. I think he had a tale to tell down the pub that evening.

I was extra nice to the checkout lady as she recognised me too. Fame should always be worn lightly, without modesty.

Well I forgot too i once went to a football match Aston Villa v Arsenal...My dad's mate played for Villa in the 50's/60's and we were in the Director's Lounge....We saw John Gregory, David Seaman, Steve Bould, Trevor Francis (who bumped into me) Lee Dixon and caught Thierry Henry outside, grabbed his autograph.....It were me dad who went and got Dixo and Big Dave's autograph as I wouldnt they looked huge......

It were a good day out, certainly an experience, one little lad tried to get in directors lounge gate by tagging onto my dads jacket saying 2im with him"....10 out of 10 for effort.....It were also the day a cahrity parachutist fell onto the football stand and some miserable Villa fan moaned that it was holding the game up...Had to bite my tongue severely that day!!
