Hi DD and Juliepf,Thank- you for replys.Dont think i have the hang of this posting topic yet as i now have lost my relys( to so tried) .So hope you see this DD, feel better DD, and yes the meds are looking more favourable. Its a facted cant live like this.Just been out for a walk with my choc labrador shes used to a very slow walk she runs then waits for me, a little gem. Lovely chatting to you all Pat

You will find your way around paddyw - and the more you post the easier it will become. None of us want to take the meds (especially those of us for whom the meds do very little) but we plod on with them becuse they do help, even if it is not as much as we want. The meth is meant to reduce the inflammation - so hopefully that translates into less joint damage and less pain. It is a very successful treatment for some, a so-so one for others then you get bods like me! I am certain that if I had been prescribed it much earlier I would not be in the state I am now. Ho-hum, it's all too late and it doesn't matter, not now. Only you can decide what you want to do - I hope you come to a decision soon. It's not easy, that much I do know.
