Hello Jayne
So sorry you have had such a rough time and such a frightening experience. I do hope you get on well at the doc tomorrow. Will be thinking of you.

Hi Jayne,
Sounds like youve had a tough time recently, dont feel bad about calling ambulance out, hyperventilating can be very frightening and if you dont know whats happening no wonder you called them,
Hope when you see your doc things get a bit better for you,
wishing you well,

Oh janeys, how scary. At least now you know what it was and what to do should it happen again - isn't a brown paper bag supposed to be the thing - you breathe in and out of it and it helps because . . . . I can't remember why it helps but I know it does!
They have taken you off the diclofenac but there are other anti-inflammatories you could try, perhaps. Once you are feeling better, a little more settled in yourself perhaps that is something to talk over with your GP. I am glad they are keeping an eye on you - we all need some extra help from time to time. You take care, look after yourself and let us know how you are getting on, please. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
well i know where you are coming from on this one just over a year ago had chest pain breath got faster and shorter with out me noticing and then you feel so ill and light headed and can pass out (doc did tell me to try paper bag to slow and deepen breathing) but also sent me to hospital to check pain out they did not find out what it was and last couple of days it reared its ugly head again but did manage to keep breathing closer to normal and got doc app to find out what causing it so find out why it happened to you it is so scary i feel for you valval0

Arthritis does this to us, janeys, it lulls us into thinking we are getting better by behaving itself then it has another snap at us and makes us poorly again. Let us know how Tuesday goes, please - your GP sounds as tho he is looking after you very well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Jayne, You souldn't feel embarassed about calling the amublance my hubby had the same thing a few years ago he just slumped against the wall really bad breathing and almost passed out it was really frightening for me let alone for you going through that it is always better to get it checked out if you feel really bad when you are on the sort of meds we take.
I hope the gp is able to sort things out for you.
i will be thinking of you on Tuesday
