Hi All,

I think some of you know i been struggling for a long time now... how long i been on the site  Anyway first i really want to thank you all for the help you have given me cus I kinda bogged down in pain, fear, and sickness...... with responsibilities that are some important....

I have had a lot of stomach trouble (got crohn's) and the mtx has basically finished it off..... I stopped taking them and it has helped.

I did enquire about injections but was told all this funding stuff etc, etc,etc but the 'cure' was to actually have erosion and refuse to take the tablets on the grounds that i couldn't cope with the stomach pain.... or the throwing up any more

So.......

Got a letter today....

I got the injections! About fill in the blanks time!!

Just got to wait to see the rumo nurse and be shown how to do them.... I reckon i could just do them but ......

hey Stampy is delighted and said i will know how she feels... only i wont cus i wont fight back, have to be corners and have in the scruff of my neck..... or will I :lol:

When I was a very young kid I was supposed to have an injection and ended up jammed behind the wash basin... one of my earliest memories.....

Mind the first one was being put on a labs back and going in to the fire..... oh and the idiot father who gave me a sparkler..... still got the scar from that one :lol:

Anyway i failed today big time....

I got to mend the sheeps fence... its been trounced by the cattle....I lifted the pounder into the car and had this idea it might be too much just now.... I can't use it cus i can't breath that good cus of the ribs.... however....

If I could use it its a hell of a work out for the muscles and a way to fight back against the arthritis that seem to be joining forces......

I said it before but I hate this Bone stuff and it's taken too much from me... it ain't getting any more.....

Sticky if you see this Slurpee said she will do your nasal spray anytime you want...... Its not making any difference as yet and the cold reinfected again last night..... Maybe it will work...

Though I think I have an allergy to the employers :lol: xx

Hey Lynn she is choc flavored and except for being a bit clingy and having a 9 foot tongue ( She has to stop pining me down and licking this much) she is juts what i need to help me stop missing my old springer so much...

now find me 2 older sheep, one preferably with one ear cus i could do with those holes filled so much...... back to a lamb eh? Not this year but maybe next... if I can be sure there is enough left in me to care for 12, 15 years..... What i must do is get an older ewe.... I might have to go to the market..... hell that's not something I should like to do..... Nice to see you and ((((( ))))) xx

Right I,

Got the usual suspects coming for dinner  You asked about the collar... i don't ware it enough......

Its uncomfortable and makes me feel like I might pass out and that's not cus its too tight.... Some would say not tight enough....

Leaving you hugs and some cdm and Slurpie sends enough licks to fill the forum... now those of us who do visualization too much now have us up to our ankles in lab slime......Not a nice vision eh?! xx

Hey just thinking i really have failed on the tablets does that help towards the anti's? mind there are ethical issues with them for me......even though I hate rodents......
#
You all take care. Cris who has found out the mtx was helping... especially the eyes now lets see what the spell check and my eyes change this too....:lol: xx

As for Slurpy - please thank her for the kind offer. The next time my other half comes in all too happy and self-confident I'll be round.

Hi Cris, I am so happy that you have got that letter full of gooder news. I really hope that the injections are easier on the stomach, I know from what I have read on here that they are meant to be...

    Hi Cris
Well its about time! Good news in a letter is a very welcomed visitor throught the letterbox. I am pleased that there is a positive to be found in the form of injections (?).
I too feel I am developing an allergy to my employers, but for very different reasons. They are causing me to develop a nasty form of Tourettes! I would much prefer your employers at the moment.
Slurpy sounds very generous with the slime, maybe too generous??!!
Take care Cris and I hope the jabs start soon xx

Way to go girl!!! Well done and push for the first jab appointment, and no not in the scruff of your neck. You could well be right about the anti’s being more reachable. Fingers crossed the injections will work well and that decision will not have to be made for a while.

Yes labs have a great capacity for full slobber cover. My friend had one and when their cat got war wounds he would lick him until he looked like a drowned rat!! **** tat was not always impressed though.:lol:

Maybe the cattle owners could be persuaded to repair the damage to the fence??? Anyway pushing one loving chocolate lab off will be building your muscles up well enough. Oh and dinner will be ready about 5 ish depending on timing.

    Hi Sticky,

She is ready and willing and says she is able..... just cus she found Pip's old nurse uniform doesn';t make her qualified though so..... I should trust your oh really...

    Well rather than Slurpy!

I still think i should use her ladyships injections for the snot monster thing..... Bout the same weight as well.....

I was too late to answer your other post by the way but my eulogy... well I should have and must try harder  i have written one to be read actually..... Its kinda an apology  Leaving you a (((( )))) and hope you are ok. xx

    Hi Tony,

Well it can't be worse than the tablets  Just hope they hurry up cus the eyes know I am no longer on it and the crohns... the bones... well it was helping a bit, got so much build up of fluid now I look like the michelin man.. mind... not too different then :lol:

Hope you and Janet are ok and leaving a cuppa. xx

    Hi Nearly,

Oh the employer based turrets... that i have got  Not the same with mine though, less someone is about..... Oh if they could read....

Hope it does get easier for you though cus did the working for people and it can get very high pressure and heavy when you can';t just turn round and tell them.....

Nearly I really did need my own dog! I got these ones but to actually have one you wanted and who didn't need you to step in.... mind she wanted me as well....

She climbed over the pay area fence and scrabbled into my arms.... I did tell her she should have made it less obvious.....

Leaving you a ((((( ))))) and some fingerless gloves Cris xx

    Hi I,

They are walking up so should get to you in time.... you got Bully and Look at My Horns... they locked horns with each other tonight and boy do they use them....

i like Panda and best boy cus they are nice  Too much Holstein in the other 2..... Though panda stuck her head through the sheeps window and bellowed... made me leap out my skin....

Yep the jabs start at 20 and will not be in the stomach to sit and hurt and aggravate... the tallest did that after 17.2 and at 25 it really spat its dummy out.....

Its calmed down a bit but only if I don't est anything that's got flavour actually....

I know I will be tested over the ethical thing I have and the anti's.... I if they offer it.... I might really be tested but if i tell them I am a veggie just maybe they will offer the one that doesn't contain mouse.....

Mind i have it in writing I am on palliative only so that's never going to happen less the erosion has changed things and it might have eh?

Hey be good if it has, almost makes it worth having

Leaving you a (((( )))) and the cattle owner... as reliable as the lodger owner.... These fences still haven't been done.... I think I might have to...... So much to do and no energy or ability isn';t a god mix eh?! xx

    Hi Lynn,

Hell they call 4 old don't they? Just to complicate things they age then by shears and teeth.....My vets tell me there isn;t a gauge for mine now they are just veteran.....:lol:

Hey I had better get a tow bar as I couldn't get 2 in the car could I?! Well I could but not sure about the legalities..... used to be ok but after 2001 everything changed.....

I am totally ok with injections and there are few things I haven't injected

The letter says he has arranged for her to contact me..... shouldn't be too long and he did mention a week or so..... I don;t think he knows I stopped taking the mtx 4 weeks ago....well thereabouts anyway.

Slurpy s wonder full and she seems to think she likes it her but has to sleep on the bed... jammed beside me and snores very badly  Well actually she snores well enough to have an honers degree in it

Tell you what though even with a big lab (she is big for one as well) jammed against me I still end up on the back./..... I wish I could stop doing the beached whale cus its so painful ..... mind I do have to get her not to lie sideways  (((( )))) and chew sticks for your girls xx

    Hi Rose,

I think the letter said next week she should contact me but the eyes are so bad at the mo it might not have,

Its got a prescription with it but i think i should take that with for when I go... I wonder if they will deliver it... this place isn't so near anywhere so I think i will be getting it from the chemist somehow...

Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. This is good news indeed. Oh skezier, it's about bloody time that things went a little easier, yes? I hope the meth jabs are more successful for you - it's a smaller dose as the liquid is more powerful than the tablet form, oh my fingers are crossed! DD

    Hi Cris
Thank goodness for the gooder news, you have had such a rotten rotten, time which you do not deserve. I hope that the injections are good for you and your lab sounds wonderful. A colleague brought their new addition to thier family yesterday a 12 week black lab called Ava she is gorgeous, want one myself but after my sisters dog died at the end of the year she has told me that I haven't to get another dog when anything happens to mine ( she is nearly 13) as she wont' do the dog sits when I am away for a new dog ( we used to look after each others for hols) Makes me feel sad I have always had a dog and as I live alone good company.

Hope the injections start sooner than soon!

    Well rather than Slurpy!

The main thing is, is she sober? If so, I'll definitely bear her in mind for those lads nights out. Tell her she needn't bother with the nurse's uniform - they don't necessarily make the wearer any more competent.

    Hi Cris

That is a bit of good news and about time things picked up a little for you. Hope it gets sorted soon and that the injections make a real difference without the nausea.

Hope you are coping today and that the early start was okish. I have clean forgotten where I put the lump hammer, must be my age! but will hunt it out for you soonish.

Glad the lab giving you some reasons to smile along with all the other lovely critters and sometimes naughtly employers. Am sure you woudn't have them any other way.

Leaving some more positive vibes and buckets of energy with a few of these ((( )))

Hi DD, Cath, Sticky, Barbara, Chris, Elizabeth, Joan, Tilly, Speedy, Debs and Toni,

Hope you are all doing okish or better still ok today?

I sound like an old broken record but failed again today to go to the sale... i did do yesterday and be honest its all but finished m,e off.....

The injections will help cus i know now the tablets were actually helping..... I especially know with my wrists.... they just ain't up for the job today so Joan get your coat cus you got some work to do

    Oh I so wish eh?!

Mind the understanding and support with the occasional kick up the back end does help cus cyber help just now is so much better than 3d help :lol:

Wont be able to even walk the dogs today but... i am so lucky... i live in a field so they kinda walk them selves and well today Slurpy

    and Slipper Boy

    http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af237/skezier/DSC03186.jpg

have been auditioning for the part of March Hares in the upcoming blockbuster 'A Life in Hell' which, for some reason, i seem somehow to be auditioning for the leading roll :lol:

I hobbled to the end of the field and they went insane all over it.... oh for some of their energy especially toady...

Right that's the moan over but other parts are available apparently.....:lol:

Going to split up now cus I don't half make the posts too long....

    Hi DD,

It about time isn't it? been asking since I hit 15 cus of all the throwing up but they wouldn't and now my stomach has broken

just wish they had done it before it got this bad... that's the NHS for you eh?! (((( )))) xx

    Hi Cath,

Oh flower its a problem with going away eh? i sort of think your sister has been a bit harsh though cus so many dogs need good homes and you are obviously someone who wants a dog......

I hope she would come round but there are dog friendly places you could go to maybe? Sorry i am not helping cus I hate to know good homes are empty when so many need homes.

I am trapped cus of not just the dogs so don't really go anywhere.... Sometimes I Would like to be able to through....

Hope work is ok and you are holding and feeling ok? (((( )))) xx

Right will go do the next one so its not so long.....

    Hi Sticky,

Sober.... ummmm..... probably but those two have a secret stash of something  I must find their supplier....

hey got us a few horses, mines the TB... I used to do the s=dressage on her long ago..

if she wanted to we would drop very few points... if she didn't we were lucky to get 40!:lol:

She would buck, nap and rear as well as leap and be silly all over the place but when she was good..... she really was something and joy to ride either way though falling off was frowned upon..... Mind she was known for it....:lol:

Git to intermediate though  Then.... I was always getting marked down for lack of suppleness in the back.... no way round that....

Hey she went like the wind cross country and was a 17 hander hence her not being raced.

Yours is what ever you want it to be and see you at Badnington  (((( )))) and Slurp said she has the spray if you got the nose.... xx

    Hi Barbara,

Oh when I got that letter I am surprised you didn't hear me yell YES! Its been a bit of a struggle and deep down I am slightly annoyed that they have left it till my stomach is this bad but its settling so it is the mtx and no doubt about it..... They should have done it sooner eh?!

Hope your ok and leaving you a (((( )))) and a hope bucket with side order of a bucket of sun xx

    Hi Chris,

Nice to see you and please find that hammer.... sleep isn't easy just now cus between the pain, the cats and slurps getting comfy isn;t so easy....

hey she was neck brace last night and seems to think she has to sleep with her head on mine... l;east i didn't end up on my back :lol:

What life was missing.... an ultra clingy snoring lab :lol:

Leaving you a bigger hug bucket and a memory position to help find the lump hammer... hey well done as well  xxx

I've got the nose and the spray. If Slurp just brings her secret stash we should be fine.

In real life I only ever rode one step up from a plodder but, as it isn't real life, I'll have my beloved Chiquita who I rode in LA. She was 1/2 American Quarterhorse and 1/2 Connemara and she obeyed voice commands so instantly I daredn't whisper the 'C' or 'G' words to anyone when on her back.

By the way, there's now a whole group of us riding on the 'No Arthritis' thread. We should have a great day. Warm & sunny is ordered.
