to ice or not to ice

ok went to supermarket yesterday am was carefull not to hurt chest further bought to much. struggled home neck aching thought stick wheatbag on, then deap heat, anything but what would help. an hour later gave in could hardly move with pain by now :sad: and that with pain meds lol so got ice out took two hours but pain free and can move again why do i put off using it know it works but it the tought of the cold :roll:

If ice works then use it - as it calms inflammation and eases things the brief burst of cold could be worth it! I used to ice my knees, regularly, but as soon as I stood up and walked to the freezer to replace the peas all was lost. I gave it up in the end - there is only so much frustration one can take. thanks dd have slept most of the weekend so have to get out and move feeling much better in myself neck does that from time to time and do know ice works but never want to use it it the thought of the cold even if wrapped in a towel. have good day hope you have this sun valval0

it was lovely out needed fleece but sun got some warmth in it got what needed and did not get what did not need lol washing on line so feet up for half hour before work valval0
