????? Sacrolitis

I was wondering if any of you on here have sacrolitis?? I am currently experiencing pain in my lower back, and down legs which is much worse when standing. Yesterday it felt as if it was on fire, today I made the mistake of prodding the area
I have had this in the past and was unable to move without painkillers and anti inflammatories, had to stop lifting heavy objects and no more high heels.
Havent had a reoccurence for a long time, but have recently had bursitis in my hip which was treated by steroid injection into joint. This hurts even when sitting down, although not as much as when standing or if I climb the stairs. Now I am on a cocktail of meds inc steroids, so am finding it difficult to compare to previous.
I was wondering if this sounds like sacrolitis to those of you with it?? Also if you have it, what type of arfur do you have??? I have inflammatory. Any tips to manage the condition would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Suzy,
I had it years ago but thankfully since they operated I haven't had it as far as i know and can't remember how it felt. think it could well be but might also be asking about it if your being seen soon but if your not maybe going to your gp as it might be other things as well.
Hope it soon eases no matter what it actually is. Cris x0 -
Hi
I was told when i was diagnosed with OA that i also had sclerosis of the sacroiliac joint but nothing was really explained about it - i was only 21yrs at the time and was a bit shell-shocked so didn't ask any questions. i have pain in my lower back - usually my left side with pain going down my left leg so i sympathise with you.
hope you are feeling better soon.
