Not sure whether congrats is in order but at least you know what the problem is I guess.
I started Sulfa myself last week, my first medication thus far!

Hi, well at least you know what you'r up against and can receive the best medication and treatment for the type of Arthritis you have. Although its not nice have an illness like this, some people, when they get their meds sorted, feel so much better and can live a normal life. Some people on here are very poorly, but not everyone gets like that and medicine is improving all the time. Best wish and lots of love, try not to read too much on the internet , it can frighten, I've done that and got in a state!!! Take care! Love Sue xxx0

Hi, its good news that you have a diagnosis and can now start treatment. but I suppose not so good that you have this awful thing. Good luck and I hope that the sulph works for you

It's good you have a diagnosis at last..
Least you are on meds now, hopefully you may see some improvements soon..
It's hard for you to come to terms with it but hopefully with the right treatment you will feel better...
For some people they improve and for others unfortunately they don't... I am in the early stages myself so so not know my outcome myself..
The best advice i can give is take one day at a time.. don't think to far ahead as this can get you down..Think of the things you can do rather than what you can't, as some people are very unfortunate and are totally disabled by arthur...Try to enjoy each day even if it's just a small thing that makes you smile, this can lighten up even the darkest days.. I find coming on here a real help, keeps me going...
Keep in touch with your progress, i really wish you well..xxxTracyxx0 -
Hopefully they have caught it early enough for the sulph to make a difference. I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi
Atleast you now have a positive answer and you can be given the correct medication to keep it under control.
Hope you start to feel the benefit of your new meds.
Take care

Hi Flossy,
Well it sounds as if they are doing all the extra tests with the armful of bloods taken plus the x-rays. Fingers crossed for you that things will now improve for you soon.
