After a really good day yesterday, including a shortish walk down the lane, which was very spring like, I've had a bad night and woken up with all my joints feeling as if they are on fire and they are swollen and red. I also have tummy ache!!! So, I've just taken painkillers and I'm going to indulge in a rest in bed, I can't sit its too painful at the bottom of my spine. With all the other things going on, the hospital seems to have forgotten my arthritis. Still seeing my nice GP on Monday. See you later. Love Sue

Oh sorry to hear you are suffering Sue, This arthur is a horror. I am not too good today either -- self inflicted though, did too much in the garden yesterday! so having a full rest day today.

    Hi Sue,
I'm tucked up in bed too, an bit miserable because it's so sunny and springlike outside it lures you out doesn't it?! Try and rest, take whatever pain killers work for you and hopefully today will be just a 'blip' and you can go out for a nice springwalk tomorrow.

Everything in moderation, woodbon. Boring, dull and tedious but ultimately it means that the good times last a little longer and the payback is a little less harsh. Rest up, get ahead of the pain with the dullers if necessary and let's hope it all subsides soon. DD

    Hi Sue,

Its not fair that everything of any enjoyment means payback. I hope its just cus you have overdone it and a day of rest up will ease it but if not your right to get it looked at.

Hope that tomorrow will be a better day and the stomach ache soon goes as well. Cris xx

Can't see how joints would make stomach upset but can see that upset stomach might make joints worse. Either way, hope you're soon feeling better, woodbon.

Hello I've not done much today rested a lot and feel much better except that I've got an ache in my upper chest, just behind the sturnum. Feels like I've pulled something, but its also made worse by moving certain bending. Not something else, please!!! I'm being very moany at the moment and feeling sorry for myself! Love Sue

Sorry I missed this thread. I do hope you are feeling a bit better today?

Sounds as tough you overdid it the other day? Shame as you enjoyed it.

Glad you have booked an appointment with the nice GP - so you can keep her in the loop.

    Love and hugs

Hello, thank you all for the support - I felt really low as well as the pain, well I suppose the pain made me feel down!
Today I am feeling less depressed, but the pain is still their sometimes, not as bad as yesterday by a long way.

I have to go to see my GP on Monday, so I will mention it to her, if its still a problem. Once again thank you all for bothering. I'm going to rest a bit more today.

    Love Suexxx

Hi, I'm a lot better today, thank you all, I felt like one big pain yesterday! My chest is still a bit sore and I can touch the place and feel it. Also, my back feels better, I am just very stiff lately, even holding a pen is hard and my writting is awful, not that it ever was wonderful. I'm going to talk all this over with my GP. I went to do it a few weeks ago, but didn't as I felt embaressed with all the moaning, she'll think I'm a munchusion (sp) person, but I'm not, I don't think.... Love Sue xxx
