hi all hope you are all well, my daughter started the injections yesterday, she felt a little unwell last night, she has got up this morning and her wrist is very swollen, just wondered if it was due to the injections or just a coincidence thanks

It's probably coincidence, kmr, that would be my thinking. It was her first dose of the injected stuff, yes? Is she doing her own? If so, she could do it just before bed and so sleep through any ill-effects. I do mine in the morning but that is because I am used to it and am rarely troubled by anything nasty. I hope she feels better soon and that her wrist goes down. DD

    Hi KMR

sounds like a coincidence, but if in doubt you can always ring the doc/rheumy nurse or even NHS direct for advice. Hope she is doing ok otherwise?

Hi, I'm with the others, the wrist sounds like a coincidence to me. In my experience, things can just suddenly swell up and become inflamed out of the blue.

Really hope that she is feeling ok otherwise after the first mtx injection.
