Our post arrives around 2pm- 3pm, which is ridiculous seeing as 25 years ago, it turned up at 7am-8am.
It's not that I'm having a go at the Postie, because I've heard the bosses won't let them start delivering while 8am, which seems daft.
What time do you get your post. Alanthemanc

Our regular postie usually delivers around 830 - 930. He does run around.
If he is off work we notice it dont get post until well into the afternoon probably around the same time as yourself...

Yeh , that seems the norm, and seems daft that the bosses won't let them out earlier like they used to. God help a small buisiness waiting for an important letter. Alanthemanc

    sullie.
That doesn't seem that bad, it's when it's after 3pm, when I feel it's getting beyond a joke. Alanthemanc

We get ours at around lunchtime. If our regular postie is off, around 4pm.

So that doesn't seem bad at all, as long as it's your normal guy. Weve had about 10 different postmen in one year, and after one leaves, it takes the new one a month to get to know the route, then he is moved, then the merrygoround starts again. Alanthemanc

I have no idea who our postman is now. Mail arrives anywhere between 1pm - 3pm during the week, but at about 7.30am on a Saturday. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

I know it seems to be getting worse, but at least it's relativley cheap. If a private firm would deliver a letter form say Manchester to Aberdeen, it would be £1.40. not 40p. so for all it's faults, it's not that bad. I just wish it was earlier in the day.........Alanthemanc

Our Postman used to come anytime between 7am-9.30am. Now he comes between 11.00am- 2pm! There does seem to be a general shift in what time they all do their rounds now!
Well I just hope the post we send out (which isn't much these days what with P.C's and the internet!) gets to the desternation on or before the needed time!!

i get mine when hubby gets home, hes my postie too lol....he used to get round early but now they are not allowed to start delivering till a certain time which drives all the posties mad and when he finally gets out he has to run everywhere theres no time anymore for him to stop and chat with some of the elderly people on his round who always look out for him such a shame

Ours come around 10.30 - 11.45am..There was a week or so about a month ago where we didnt get post for about 4 days but it turned out a new bloke had started and lost his key for one of those grey boxes and he had to wait for someone to bring him another one!!
