Caudal Epidural

I have just had a phone call from the hospital and I am having my caudal epidural done this Thursday. I only contacted the day unit to see how long it was likely to be and to see if I could be put on the cancellation list on Thursday. I was told that it wouldnt be before the beginning of June and then today I had the call to say that there was a second list running and I am on it.
I have got to have MRSA Swabs done today (I am heading off soon for those) and I feel as if I have had my life turned upside down in a matter of minutes.
Can I please ask for some pocket duty at 1pm on Thursday.

Hi Jaki,
Flower it will be ok, had one a few years ago and its ok.... bit uncomfortable and in my case the back and the extra bone made it more difficult and they couldn't get any fluid out... they did 10 attempts and flower DON'T let them do more than 2!
Shall be with you and will even bring a sheep who some people here can confirm are the most wonderful comfort rags going
Its honestly ok flower and they can find out so much from it as well. ((((( ))))) and try not to worry or let it swamp you. Cris xx0 -

At the moment I am fine. I am hoping that I can sleep tonight as I am getting a bit nervous about it. I havent heard anything about the MRSA test so I am assuming they were ok.
Thanks to everyone for being there with me tomorrow. I will let you all know how it went when I get home xJaki0 -
Hi Jaki
Will be with you from Hoar Cross Hall this afternoon.
Jaki, just rest afterwards and rest and rest a bit too. You may be a bit sore if you are unlucky, but all being well you will be A-OK!!
Love and very best wishes

Hi everyone
I woke up not long ago due to the sedative and medication last night and lack of sleep for a couple of nights before. Fortunately I am feeling a bit better today and apparently I have a huge bruise on my backside.
I am still feeling a bit sore but not anywhere near the pain that I was in yesterday when I got home.
Thanks againJaki0 -
Whack some witch hazel on that bruise, that will ease it. I am glad to hear that you have had some sleep (nice stuff, sleep) and that the pain is less. Take things easy today, yes? These procedures can knock the stuffing out of one. I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
