Mr DD challenges me on a regular basis with his exotic and masculine range of stenches, always produced with some exuberance (if not an actual fanfare) but those smells pale into comparison next to that of bananas. I cannot bear the banana feculence that one finds in the fruit aisle of a supermarket or greengrocer's. I know they produce a gas that can spoil other fruit, hence our 'nanas are suspended above the fruit bowl but . . . . . . I hate them and their smell. What about you? Any odd olfactory dislikes? DD

Oh Joanne, we had one of those plants in the garden, and it really did smell like rotten meat  It was disgusting, and it seems strange to say that you hate a plant, but that one I really did hate. It's gone now, thank goodness. It was either me or the plant :!:

Try using soap in the shower Rich - water alone won't work.

Rob, just how does one get sprayed or covered in fox pee? Ummm, scratch that question, I don't want to know. No, really, I don't.

It's good to see that tjt is being his usual tolerant self. What a list but how does he know about rehab's WC? Just curious.

I gave this matter further thought: bananas still top my list, but sulphur is not far behind, rancid milk, bleach and cabbage water also rank (ha-ha) pretty high. DD

You could invest in one of those feet thingies: it's shaped like a foot, covered in plastic bristles and adheres to shower pan/bottom of the bath. You can squirt soap onto it then just gently rub your foot back and forth - if indeed you can manage to do that sort of movement -or a long-handled back brush would achieve the same. There are ways round these things - any hints on the tips thread on LWA?

I hope the aqueous cream is helping matters. DD

I was once held prisoner in Rehabs WC back in the forties for ten months... That smell, I will never forget it as long as I live... A mix between rotting flesh and belly button fluff... I think that was a young Mr Rehabs daily diet....

I agree with you on the **** smoke, it is truly horrible. I always thought that fresh fish didn't smell, it's the stale stuff that does.

Why is the pet food aisle in a supermarket always deserted - or at least very thinly populated? DD

Because they don't allow 'pets' in there

Clot. I meant why are there so few people actually buying pet food? They appear at the checkouts with Felix and Pedigree etc but you never see them actually in the aisle loading their trolleys. It's a mystery. DD
