well i have had these hand sets three of them for well over a year.
I often wondered what the red line that ran down the left side of the display window was. Today cause i was bored i picked up the handset and tried to scratch the line off. I found out that the line was drawn on a piece of plastic film that had been protecting the display window.
durrrrr i can now see who is calling me without screwing up my eyes.
Its as clear as a bell. how daft am i ?

Is anyone else as daft or am i the only one

No Juliepf you are not the only one just the other day I was looking for my boot guess what it was on my foot. Just can't see the wood for the trees lol

It's easily done, Julie, no doubt about that. Sometimes the film is not that easy to see, as you have discovered. That has made me smile tho - thank you! Now you can answer the phone with confidence! DD

Wodered why we couldn't see the display on the remotes for our air-con Guess what? Plastic film :eek: :eek: :eek:

thank you for being as daft as me - my manager asked me to count the cheques the other day and i said "there's 6 of them" - i didn't know she meant the amount!!! - lack of sleep lots of pain and not having my morning coffee is the excuse I'm sticking to.
