I don't know if I've mentioned this before on here. I've had a novel published. I spent 6 years researching and writing it. It's part true and part
surreal. It's not sold many because it was the start of the credit crunch and books just weren't selling.
Anyway, it's now been published on KINDLE. Kindle is for reading books.
I've got it at a low price so to attract a few buyers.
Anyone who owns a Kindle can go to their site and look for:

"Stop the plane!!"

Thanks, I'm hoping it sells well. I've put it at a very cheap price so here's hoping.

Wow, Ron, I'm impressed :!: Lots of people aspire to write a novel, but very few actually get one published, so well done :!:

Well I never knew that, Rondetto. A published author in our midst? What a talented bunch of bods we are, we number authors, poets, artists (with paint, ceramics, silver and glass) and photographers. Wow. DD (who can't do nuffink)

I think more and more people are turning to the Kindle to read books. It's much cheaper.

Thanks Babs, I've just been on the Kindle site and noticed it's just sold my first one on there. I've made it very cheap so I don't get much from it, but I thought the more pricey I made it the less it would sell.

I am considering a Kindle (when the price comes down substantially which it will, these things always do) but I would use it only for holidays. I love the feel and heft of a real book but as I read quite rapidly I end up taking a huge amount of books away with me - the longer the break the more I need. A Kindle would be good for that. Libraries are brilliant places - no charge unless you are late returning your borrowings. No expense involved there! DD

At the moment Dreamy, there is 119 full books on my Kindle. And still lots of room for more. At £111 it's worth every penny.

A man came home to find his wife in bed with his friend,
"What's going on here?" demanded the husband.
"See," said the wife to her lover, "I told you he was stupid."
