Crunch time tomorrow

Hi all, I have my first milestone appointment with the surgeon tomorrow. 6 weeks since my op and time for the first x-rays to see how the fusion is coming along. If all goes well and he is happy, I should be getting a full weight bearing plaster.

I am amazed and will be right theer with you hoping taht all goes REALLY well, which it will.
Now then: no dancing on that new cast tomorow eh?

Gosh Rob that has gone quick...not for you I suppose, but I remember the days before you were due to go in hospital, you really have done well
I have everything crossed that the consultant is please with the xrays...and then there will be know stopping you

good luck with your appointment you have worked hard to get your foot strong i hope you have the plaster changed.
i'm having my ancle broken and put straight( a horse stood on it when i was younger)and three fusions in my foot and my big toe put up straight and it will be in plaster for 12 weeks and i wont be able to walk on it.

if its like breaks and plating once you have the full weight plaster on you will find it so much easier.
Everything crossed for tomorrow and we are up for pocketing if needed. Really hope the xrays are good. Cris x0

Back from my appt. Surgeon is happy with the way thing are going. Full weigh bearing cast for the hopefully final 6 weeks.0
