Hi Val
I do know that some heart meds cause forgetfulness and confusion, especially when they raise the dose.
But if you are worried give the NHS direct a ring, they are brilliant at giving advice.
Hope your dads feels better very soon.

Hi.
I would recommend that you get your dad checked out for a urine infection as this can very quickly cause confusion in the elderly as can dehydration. hope he is soon back to himself.

Hi Val my mum is insulin dependant and she normally gets confused and unable to concentrate when her blood sugar levels are low, maybe the new meds are affecting his sugar levels?or is he eating regulary? How long has he been on insulin?xxx0

Hi Val, definately ring the NHS line, they do a brilliant service, as mentioned, urine infections are a real **** for making folks confused, my Grandma gets them a lot and you can tell as soon as she starts because of the confusion........
Best wishes with your Dad Val, hope he's ok...Me-Tony
