hi l.o.p
get the dr or nurse to check it in the morning to make sure you dont get an infection in it and that the tape isnt to tight. i hope you get it sorted xxxx0 -
Hi Lots Of.
Why did it happen ..... might need re-doing cus it sounds like its rubbing.
Treating it might be helped with a bit of salt water but you do need to get it looked at and really the tape needs to come off cus it isn't right if its done thins to you.
Can I ask who taped it up please? i didn't know they still did that.
You really should get it looked at as it sounds so much like a rub blister type thing. Hope its all eased up for you now. Cris x0 -
Hi Lotsofpain
I had my knee taped last year - it didnt help me but didnt give me any skin problems....
Yours im sure is where its been rubbing, like a blister on your feet...My dad after his TKR had a small blood blister near his scar where they put the big steristrip but it didnt cause him any pain, looked yuki.....Id ask to see a nurse or gp and if you need the tape get it covered/cushioned......if not discard the tape....
Good luck

Poor poor you and l hope it's not sore?
I tend to agree with the others on this one that you should get yourself checked out to be sure.
