Broken Smilies

Whenever I try to put smilies from other websites into my messages nowadays I get a little red note at the top of the page saying

It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image

...and it won't submit my message until I've removed the smilie

I'm not doing anything different from what I used to do and my signature still works.

Is it just me and can anyone help?
    Love, Legs x

I spent ages trying to make it work, and thought there was something wrong with my computer. I posted about it on the technical forum, and then realised it was a problem with the site when Del and Rich said they couldn't post any smilies either. I hope they will get it fixed soon. The birthday threads in particular look so flat without any smilies.

Thanks for replying, I'm so glad it's not just me.

I agree with Joan too the birthday posts do look quite dull without the lovely colour ....so let's hope it gets sorted soon.

Thank you to the technical bods who fixed things - the smilies do cheer things up - these are for you. DD
