Oh Mike, how frustrating. I am so sorry, what a disappointment for you. Don't they make any allowances for disability? Obviously not. Twerps. At least you know that you can pass it, you did the theory - is there any way you can practice the quicker movements that seem to be required without hurting yourself? I am vexed on your behalf. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Mike
Sorry I missed this earlier. I'm disappointed for you that it didn't all go well for you, but I'm sure that you will pass next time. I'm very surprised that you weren't allowed to take a bottle of water in, especially as you are diabetic. Surely they should make allowances for medical conditions. Anyway, better luck next time.

Hi Mike
Sorry I missed your earlier post, how awful of them not to make allowances surely they should allow you drink....anyway at least you know what to expect when you go back.
Wishing you the very best of luck......you can do it

They won't let you take in water in case it is spilled.
The rules state that You aren't allowed to take anything into the room with you.
I have made an 'anonymous' complaint via Directgov about the refusal of your glasses and crutches in the hope that they will issue better guidance to the test centres. How stupid can these people get?Joseph0 -
I would have hit him over the bloody head with the crutches for having to think about if you could take them in or not :x Bloody simpleton.. If you had been in a whhelchair would they have stuffed that into a locker and piggy-backed you in...?? :evil :evil
What a complete and utter DUCKEGG!!
I am quite sure that if they won't let you take your own water in, as a diabetic they would have had to get you a drink if needed...
I still can't get over them having to think about letting you take your crutches in

My gob is well and truly smacked. That is APPALLING. What a bunch of - well, words don't fail me but given that this is a public forum I guess the rest of you can guess what phrases I might choose.
Re the water, is it beyond the wit of man to realise that a sports bottle (you the type, the ones where the nozzle has to be pulled up to allow a flow of water) won't spill if it's knocked over? All my pupils turn up with these bottles, they suck at them like baby lambs, shove the nozzle back, if it topples no harm done. Honestly. :roll:Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Hi mike
Sorry to read that you didn't pass the theory, but, atleast you now know what to expect so you will pass next time I am sure.
Take care
