Just wanted to say a big thank you to all who replied to my last post "new and confused"... I went back to see another GP, she told me heaps more than the last dr, I have narrowing joint space in my right hip, and signs of early OA in my pelvis and more than likely in my spine... It was in my records that i should be referred to a rheumy (last dr never said this to me) so a referral was done there and then, I have an appointment with a rheumatologist on the 19th april 2011 at 3pm....
Just thought i ought to let you all know as you were all so kind and helped with answers...I will let you know how i get on in due course...

    Hi debs

that is good news. Glad you went to a gp that actually explained your condition and made the appointment straight away for you.

I hope your app with the rhumos goes well and that the meds you get make a massive improvement to your condition.

    Take care

Well done for moving things on and getting a better understanding.Try to write a list of the many questions you will have as it helps better than having to rack your brains at the time.
