Hi

I know some people are very talented and in the music/entertainment business it can be hard to get a break but i find some people get over exposure and dont know about anyone else but sometimes I'll see a name in paper, mentioned on radio and cos you hear them all the time i tend to switch off. The name that comes up I find again and again is how brilliant/talented etc the young singer Adele is....But i find i dont like her, she is good but ive heard better too and dont quite get the hype all about her and now when i hear her songs on radio i switch off immediately....Its like drip feeding someone of an too much cooing and praising.......
I know everyone is differnet in their opinions too and i recognise that.....
Thinking back when i worked in a mint cake factory and was stuck on a machine alone and someone got a blinking Cliff Richard cd for birthday/christmas...Well they played it over and over and over till i eventually blew my top and said "please put something else on for ****s sake"....Now i cant stand him either and its the same reason, like chinese torture it were....ARGH!!!!

Oh dont even get me started on sports people:-

Beckham - yes a good free kicker but never ever a true captain such as ones in the past, Ince, Pearcy......And an individual, not a team player...
Rooney - well need i say any more, that boy has badness in him despite having good things in life....
Joey Barton - Jailed twice, good role model like Rooney
Paul Gascoigne - Needs help, wont take it, will end up like George Best im afraid.....

    I'll shut up now....

Would crap jockeys mean youve lost on GN...??

    Hi katnapp

Couldn't agree more especially about Katie Price.Always thought of her as full of her own self importance and with an ego as big as her boobs and equally artificial.

Starve her of publicity (usually self created) and she would die.

Back to Adele, I agree with you Elaine. I don't like her music at all, I find it dull and monotonous and dirge-like. When it comes on the radio I switch it off. I can't think of one song she's sung which I like.

Sorry all you Adele fans out there, I know I'm in a minority.
