Oh well, that'll teach me to come on here and sing the praises of my knee aspiration. Things were great at first - now, just over two weeks later, things seem to getting back to 'normal'. Stiffness and swelling, my right knee in particular feeling as bad as ever
I've had my follow-up appointment with the rheumy through for the end of June. Did think about going back to my GP in the meantime but not really sure if there's much she can do. She gave me naproxen last time I went to see her but it didn't really seem to do much for me.
Ho hum - I'll just ride it out I guess and try to be positive. Had some news yesterday that reminded me there are people with far worse problems than me.

I agree with at least letting your doc know it has flared up again, does your GP do phone consultations? mine does and it does help if you can't make it out the house. Might be worth investigating to see if your surgery does phone consultations so you don't have to leave house but just let your doc know about flare up. I always listen to my body, if it says rest I rest and I find my body is always right!! LOL!! Hope you feel alittle better soon. x0

I agree with the others no harm at all in going to the GP.

Hi kirsty
sorry that the knee has again swollen, that is so disheartening for you.
I would make an appointment with your gp , he may be able to do something for you.
Take care, rest your knee as much as possible and I hope the inflamation goes soon.
