I was just wondering if anyone knows much about Inflammatory Athropathy??
My consultant sent me a letter today explaining that he thought this was a possible diagnosis?? I have looked on google but does not explain much to me other than it is a bone disease... have typed in the search box on here and nothing has come up...
Any info would be gratefully appreciated..
Thanks..

    Hi Tracy
No apology needed. Although I have been wondering where you have been. I dont know anything at all about this possible diagnosis, but hope that if that is what you have, there is a good treatment outcome for you.
You rest and take care of yourself

    Hi Tracy

There was a short thread on inflammatory arthropathy back in Sept last year - have bumped it up for you. There is a bit more info there which might be helpful.

    Hi Tracy

    good to see you!!!!

l think that it is a generic term to cover most of the inflamatory arthritises.....incluidng PA and RA and sero-negs and molst of us. ALMOST a diagnosis then?

Lots has happened and you have been missed

    Love

    Hiya Tracy,

Arthropathy is a word that has a similar meaning to arthritis. It means a disease or abormality of the joint whereas arthritis literally means joint inflammation.

I've noticed doctors seem to vary with their 'words', especially when people have a tricky diagnosis. I wouldn't worry too much.

Hope you're ok and no need to apologise about not being here.

    Thanks all..

Saw my GP today and she said that it was a term used for bone/joint disease when an accurate diagnosis cannot be given...

Be easier if they just stick to lamon terms lol..

Had a good old chat with GP spoke about work and future, was lovely to have her listening and understanding.. Am having depo mendrone injection again next week so hoping i will feel benefits again... she has upped my amtriptyline again to 25mg.. Will be lost when she goes on maternity leave next month..

Hope you are all ok as ok can be...
