Tillytop's computer has expired - there seems to be little hope of its resurrection so the chances are she will be absent for some while.

I know you cannot look in Tilly, but I reckon it's safe to say you will be missed. DD

Good Lord, a fate almost worse than death!

I'll definitely miss her, she's been a great friend to me in my short time on this forum & has helped me come to terms with this blasted disease of ours.

Give her my best if you're in contact with her DD.

p.s. Great to see you posting again, hope you're feeling a little better.

I will pass on all your good wishes to tilly in due course, I promise. I hope all of you are keeping as well as you can - as for me, well, it is what is is, it isn't what it isn't and it is doing what it loves to do, regardless of the meds. Never mind. DD

Thanks so much DD for posting this for me - and thanks to Keith, Dottydoodah, Daschund and Barbara for your replies and kind words.

Well I am back online on a borrowed computer (with a very tiny screen so apologies if I am typing gibberish).

It's good to be back - I know it's only been a few days but I have so missed the forum!

    Thanks again.

    Love Tilly xxx

    Thanks Keith!

I reckon that's about the size of this one. Hopefully my eyes will begin to adjust soon - otherwise I will have to resort to a magnifying glass! Hope you are doing ok? Will pm you tomorrow.

Hi Tilly, What a pain technology is when it goes wrong! Still maybe you can pick up a bargin as a lot of places have offers due to the way things are at the moment.

Have you considered second hand? People seem to update their computers just because they haven't got the latest model! Personally I couldn't care less as long as it works but sometimes their are bargins to be had. I don't know how you are at knowing how to check one out. Personally I'm no good at all, but my husband is and we started out with second hand stuff. Or the internet, if you understand them better than me!!!
Anyway I hope you get something sorted out quickly, as its when we haven't got these things we realise how much we use them! Good luck  Love Sue xxx

Thanks again peeps for your condolences and kind words. We know for sure now that our pc cannot be resurrected  and we were quoted £500 to have it repaired  but luckily we can continue to use the borrowed one until we are able to get a new one. Thanks for you advice Sue. Much appreciated and I will pass it on to the "technical guru" .

Oh I am so glad to be back - tiny screen or not!

    Love Tillyxx
