    thank you. my consultant is a lady and she's friendy i think
    she was doing opperations and everyone else there was having tkr's.
    i will let you know when i have a date.

    Sorry Joan that you have to go back,you get so hyped up then feel deflated..................... :roll:

    My appointment was more of a consultation than the expected pre-op.Basically the surgeon told me I could choose between an ankle fusion or replacement,the choice was mine!!........................ :???:

    Fortunately I had another pair of ears with me and a list of questions written down (essential!).Based on this I chose the replacement.

    My op had been provisionally booked for the 28th April.However the surgeon said this was now dependent on whether 'he could get the kit' (his words i.e the replacement ankle joint) in time for this date.So I've still got to wait for a date!!........................ :sad:

    Will keep posted (and happy to do pocket duty for anyone requiring it,haven't forgotten you Cris).Will bring my own picnic if the glorious weather continues.

    Good choice...now the decision is made. Very brave of you and glad you were not alone. I hope the KIT can be delivered on time...suggest they avoid the company who were supposed to pick up my telly (D*L!!!)

    Well I have come in alittle late so I can offer myself for pocket duty for Cris for tomoz. I will bring a box of french fancies and snuggle in the pocket and be with Cris in spirit. Hope all goes the way you want it and everything goes o.k big hug (())
