Reasons for absence..

Hi folks..
Just wanted to say why I haven't been around too much and apologise to those who have needed support as I usually try my best to be there for pocket duties etc..
Since starting on the new patches I've had spells of deep and heavy sleep which I'm really enjoying, that's why I'm not around so much on a night, but when we went to Ireland I took my crutches with me as they offer more support than the sticks, I think they've taken their toll on my hands as typing is becoming rather painful, plus I think there may be a flare hiding around the corner as all my joints feel like they're on fire and hurt... Elbows, wrists, hands, knees and my left hip.. Joy of joys.. Lol

I do keep logging in but just can't reply like I want to at the minute..hope to be back to normal soon..

You take care, please. You do push yourself to the limits sometimes, don't you, but you wouldn't be you if you didn't. I hope the patches are helping with the pain, you rest as much as you need, and I am sure the more familiar/usual Tony will come roaring back.

The heating is on and my mum is making a hot water bottle. :shock: I am sopping wet, on my third towel of the day. Ooooo 'eck our lad, it's a grand life. DD

you have little choice but to rest l suspect.

There are folks on here who have technology to type hehir words, but for now lets hope rest from crutches puts you right eh?

Louise, I hope you make a good cup of tea as a secretary, lol..
And I'm a stickler for spelliongz, lol..

I find that I can type easier using the phone rather than pc as it has touch screen but as both elbows have decided to become miserable as sin I can't hold the phone towards me as bending the elbows hurts :roll:
Oh boy, what are we like eh? Haha

I fear that I'm definitely at the beginning of another flare up, it's ****'s law really as the sun is out.. Lol

Sorry to hear you suffering with them their hands i do sympathise as i have an exact same pair with matching elbows !
I find those isotoner gloves help have you got any? The crutches did the same thing to me too and the elbows. You need to have plenty of rest and not use them i'm afraid it a bu***r isnt it?

Glad to hear you had a grand time in Ireland sorry your suffering now take care and rest up. Catch up soon.

Oh my dear Tony! I wish I lived closer to you as I could be your P.A as that was my last job before the nasty Arthur decided it wanted my full attention! And I would be your nurse as well and before you say it no I will not wear the naughty nurse outfit for you!! ROFL!!
But truthfully I am so,so sorry that you have been hit so hard during your trip to Ireland and now, you are such a darling friend to all of us and so kind. If anyone deserves to be pain free it would be you! I really hope your GP gets his finger out his **** and sorts the right drugs to make you more comfortable and as pain free as possible. Sorry if I offended anyone by saying that but I hate that such a lovely person is being left in so much pain, it's just wrong I hope you get the right pain relief soon and my nutty buddy comes back for some serious banter!!
