Hi everyone,
I've been away from site for a while but I'm back cos I can't do this on my own. I'm struggling a bit just now with regards my pain and GP who was recently very supportive but now has suddenly became very dismissive of me. Too long a story, I'll maybe post several posts instead of putting it all down here.
Wanted to tell you all (if you remember?) about my appointment with jaw specialist. After 4yrs of going to different drs, dentists and specialists-I've found one who has recognised I need help. My jaw joints are very bad and the articular discs that are normally between the joints have gone! He's wanting me to go into hospital as a day patient and get injections into jaw that will lubricate the joints. All done under a general anaesthetic. I was so pleased that I didn't ask when I would be called or what the injection will be. If it doesn't work then he'll maybe try steroids. If that doesn't work I guess it'll be some kind of surgery.
Hope everyone well,
Magenta x

    Hi Magenta,

What a shame about your GP changing their helpful attitude towards you - you must be feeling very let down by them.

I, too, was wondering how the jaw appointment went - I hope you don't have to wait too long to get the treatment. At least this is working in your favour.
    Love, Legs x

Hi Eileen , Glad to hear you are going to get something done at last ,you have waited long enough . How are you doing with the rest of your pain? I wondered what had happened to you and thought you must of had a lot of pain going on ,
The GP thing sounds strange , why do they do things like that , you never know where you are with them.
Glad your back , hope it goes will for you .....jillyxx

    Hi Magenta

Thank goodness you have at last found someone who can help you after such a long time with your jaw joint problems. I bet you were so pleased that you have found this person who was able to offer alternatives that no wonder you forgot to ask when you would next be seen, etc. I am sure you will be able to phone up and speak with his secretary or someone on his team to answer your questions. If not they could take a message and he could call you back.

I wish you well with that,
    Luv
