I was here 2 years ago so know where you are coming from.My op went very well and I even had a nice chat with the anaethasist during op when I took my I-pod out of my ear. I had a spinal and recovery was fine.
Having said that of course you feel nervous. It is a big op and ou have your loved ones to think about.I have to be honest and say I still had 2 children sleeping in my bed after the op and had to get up and get on immediately.OH was in shock having lost me for 6/7 days so I needed to pick up the pieces! I tried not to bend etc but I failed often.Hope you have more support than I did!

    Best wishes
    Elizabeth

I would be happy to go through it all again. The relief from pain was superb and the op was fine.I enjoyed the break and made lots of friends.

Mind if I jump in too Karen, I know, I've been quite rubbish with my pocket duties lately... I'm getting there though.

Best of luck for tomorrow mi dear, I'm sure that you will be fine, especially with us lot backing you up..
Shall we also provide Tony with some household pocket duties? Lol

If I don't get online tomorrow, please know that I'm thinking of you..

    Best wishes

I am willing to bet that you don't know if you are coming or going, can't concentrate, stuff is going in one ear and out the other, there is a trail of half-done jobs littering the house, piles of incomplete lists, last-minute panics about things to do that you have already done so why not sit down with a lovely cuppa and have a cuddle with the you-know-who. That is the best thing to do.

Take care, Karen, the very best for tomorrow, we shall all be thinking of you and waiting for an update from Tony (not you, tjt, the other Tony in her life!) My very best wishes for a good day tomorrow. DD

    Hi Karen,

    Sorry I nearly missed this.

You'll be absolutely fine but wishing you all good luck anyway and a speedy recovery once it's all over.
