Computers in the future

According to Moore's law, computing power doubles every 18 months, and will continue to do so until computers become as small as molecules, at which point the law will grind to a halt ( predicted to happen in 2020 )
I've just read* that a Playstation costing a couple of hundred pounds now is as powerful as a military supercomputer from 1977 that cost millions. In the future, computer chips will be cheap as chips, and will be everywhere- in our clothes, in domestic appliances, in the walls of our houses, all talking to each other. Computers will be cheaper than sheets of paper, and so light and flexible that they will be barely distinguishable from paper. The single computer screen will be replaced by computers accessed from lenses placed directly over our eyes. When you watch a soccer match, for instance, the stadium will surround you, and your virtual self will be on the pitch with the players. Man-made molecules called catoms are programmed to reconfigure themselves at the whim of a computer programmer.
It's mind-boggling to imagine what the future will bring, isn't it :?:

I could always ask the catoms to reconfigure you, rehab, but even they might be defeated

I shall have some catoms fitted into SWMBO with a remote control programmed to me!
Another typical male perspective :!:  But my guess is that SWMBO has already had some catoms secretly fitted to you. We wimmin are always one step ahead of the game, as you must realise0 -
