Don't worry Valval! I am afraid of the dentist! I would rather go to hospital than the dentist anyday! It's all because I had a crack in a tooth right down to the nerve and needed it filled so the dentist injected the anesthtic and I don't really remember the whole thing just snipits/ flash backs, but I had an anatherlatic shock to the anesthtic and lost conshisnes, and by the time the paramedics got there my heart had stoped and they had to shock me to get me back! It was the most weirdest time of my life cause all I really remember is being in hospital, yet it has made me very nervous of dentists and I don't go to the dentist practice were that happened anymore I go to another one yet I still feel nervous, I supose I have a right to!!

Well done valval, that took some courage and determination - I hope it sorts out the dental difficulties once and for all. Can you drink tea yet without it dribbling out of the side of your mouth? That's the unfortunate side-effect of the numbing! DD

You really are brave Val, and must be so relieved to have that over and done with. Give yourself a pat on the back and a special treat - you deserve it.

    Hi Val,

I think everyone is scared of the dentist, you have to feel sorry for them. I had to go about a month ago and two came out, she was so good, the injection didn't hurt and thought she was maybe having trouble with one, then she announced she had taken both out already.

I am like you terrified, she said I should have taken a tranquiller before coming but there you go. You've done it. Good on you.

If it's your left palm that's itching it means you're going to lose something ....on the other hand (literally) if it's your right palm it means you're going to come into money

Well done for going through with it and not running away, Val. It was the best thing to get rid of the troublesome tooth. I sympathise with you because I have a phobia about tooth extractions. When I had to have a back tooth extracted a while ago, my friend had to come and hold my hand throughout the procedure. The dentist teased me afterwards that I was only having a tooth out, not giving birth
