Hello

I am in my thirties and have been diagnosed after a stay in hospital, with rare form of osteoarthritis in my knee. I have to have surgery on my other knee in the next few weeks or so.

Would be great to meet other arthritis warriors  xx

Hi kneegirl - a big welcome to you, a pleasure to meet you and glad that you found the forum. Sorry to hear about your OA and hope that the upcoming op goes well for you.
You will be well looked after on here, everyone is kind, helpful and share many of the same problems that we all go through on a daily basis. Do pop into Val's cafe, we have a laugh and eat cake till we pop.
I too have OA of knees, ankles, neck, lumbar spine and now starting in hands.
I am the resident chief potterer, a retired nurse, who cannot sit, nor stand still for any time, so I potter about and look after the night medicine trolley in the cafe.
Take lots of care, look forward to you posting. XX Bubbles
