You doctor sounds a sweetheart and he is trying to help. Don't expect the pain dullers to take it all away, honestly Janey they don't, they only ever take the edge off, but some remove more of an edge than others. I hope this new regimen suits you better and brings you some deeper relief.
I too suspect you won't be going back to work just yet, I am pleased you popped in to see them because at least that keeps the channels of communication open. How come you have lost all that wieght? Is the pain stopping you from eating? Don't get too thin, that won't help matters either!
Thanks for the update. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Hi DD, it was nice to see the girls at work ,but a bit upsetting seeing my world going on with out me ,but its for the best at the moment.Iv lost about astone but im just guessing ,im down too size to a10,dr says its because of pain, but i would say its worry, did the same when my mum died.Soon as things get abit more settled i will eat better. Are you feeling abit better DD. It very hard sometimes. All the best DD Jayne xxx0

It's one of the oddities of life, Janey, the world does carry on whether one is playing an active part in it or not. There you are, fretting about the OA, fretting about your work, fretting about the pain, fretting about what the future may hold and everyone else is just cheerfully carrying on as though stuff is OK - which in their world it is. Aren't they the lucky ones? I am sure that once you begin to feel a little better in yourself, once the pain is under better control and once you know where you are then yes, your appetite will pick up again and you will feel easier about everything. I hope that comes soon for you, I really do.
As for me, well, no, I am not feeling that wonderful today but never mind, it will pass, all things do. You take care please - I won't be about too much next week but I will be thinking of you. Me and my zebra (Bah) are off for a few days away - he had better behave, yes? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
