Hi All
As most of you know karen went in for a hip replacment today and everything has gone to plan and she is allready up and about me and the kids went to see her and she has amazed us it's almost if there was nothing done in the way she is dealing with it and has made me very proud of her,
Sadly I was unable to be with her from the start today as I was up at St Thomas's London having my bionic bum tuned up for the 1st time since
my S.C.S Nuro stimulator inplant op in my lower back 6 weeks ago, the only problem is I walk a little funny now (monty python style  LOL)
Anyway back to karen, I would like to thank you all for the sapport you have given over the weeks leading up to today, you all have made the whole experiance a lot easier for her.
Thank you all and a big hug for all from me and the children you all have been great

Hi all
Well Karen's home and doing really well, I picked her up at 2:30pm today,
she tried to stay up for when the children got home from school but had to go to bed just before they got back.
I have setup all the special needs stuff supplied by the hospital and changed the dressing for her as well and I am glad to say that the entry point looks very good hardly any swelling a little brusing and thats about it
for the op site, she only had the nerve block and was awake for the whole op, she has told me all about the strange sounds she heard lol.
She has managed the stairs very well and gotten up several times for the bath room, Karen will be back on here tomorrow with any luck but she sends her love to you all as do I you are all fantastic and your sapport has made the whole expireance so much easier for her to deal with
Thank you all and loads of love from Karen me and the children.
Tony aka(LoneGunman)
