hello just wondering from all you that are on embrel or another injection form, have you had any bad heads?
after each injection i have experienced a headache which lasts about 3 days this has happened twice after each injection.
Also after my latest on tuesday i have got what seams like an allergic reaction. it is on the injection site and 1 inch round, and very red, sore and warm. i have an anti-allergy cream and been using it for 2 days with no improvement.

Anyone else or any advice would be great, do i take my next injection on tuesday or wait.

thanks davina

    Hi Dee,

I am on the mtx injections and sometimes that gives me a few days nausea and headaches so it is possible that its the drug doing it to you.

The injection site doesn't sound so good and I think it might be a good idea to get it checked out as it could have got infected flower rather than a reaction.

I hope it will all settle down for you and the drug will really help you as well. Cris x

    Hi dee

    I'm with Cris

always safer to check with someone if you have a possible reaction to anything you know.

When the kids had their jabs l had to report anything larger than a 50p peice.

    Hi Davina

Haven't been on Enbrel but when I used to inject Humira I used to get injection site reactions which sound very much like yours. Sometimes the reaction area was significant - several inches. But the rheumatologist advised me to take a (non-drowsy) one a day over the counter anti-histamine tablet before I did the injection and for a couple of days after if needed and this solved the problem completely. Would suggest you check with the doc or pharmacist first though.

    Hope this helps some.
