Hi All
Just wanted to say what a great forum this is. I joined just a few days ago and cannot believe what a difference it has made for me. I have come to realise that although I suffer from Osteoarthritis, asthma, recurrent urineary inections and urticaria, there are a lot of people out there that are worse than me but they still keep smiling. thank you all for just being there.
Stay positive always👍xx

Morning Turbogran, I love the name! To my way of thinking it says a deal about you and your attitude. I hope you find the forum as informative and supportive as I have/do. I am currently on my hols so not around as much as usual, but I look forward to seeing your name here and there! I wish you well. DD

Thank you Coco frogmorten and dreamdaisy for your welcome
Its great to know there are people out there who you can speak to who really know and understand what you are going through and how you feel.
The urticaria thing is not so bad at the moment Toni as dr prescribed me a one a day anitihistamine which is helping. Hi dreamdaisy the name was first used a couple of years ago by my grandhildren when I stared using a 4 wheeled rollator to help me get about outside and i liked it so it stuck.

One lady on here has named her mobility scooter 'Enzo' - after Mr Ferrari - ain't that wonderful? I think a rollator is a grand thing, they do give better support than just sticks. I am currently clattering about like some sort of demented beetle but I reckon a rollator could be the next thing - I like the idea of being able to have a sit-down when required just like that, rather than having to hunt for a bench! oh DD you made me laugh just imagining a demented beetle it conjured up a lovely picture. and yes the rollator is much easier and less tiring than sticks or crutches.

Hi Carol, And welcome, I'm glad you are finding it helpful on here, everyone on here tries to help or cheer up their fellow member, like I have said before it is like one big family! We are all here in the same boat because of Arther ( Arthritis) and his family! Glad you decided to join and hope to converse with you on here one day. Amanda, (bubbadog).

    Hi Turbogran.

Welcome aboard. I am quite new and have found the people here lovely.

I have become a bit of a turbogran myself recently. I use the electric scooters on hire at chopping centres and supermarkets but the best find recently is a wooded parkland and play area thats alos hires out scooters free of charge. I had a wonderful day out with my grandchildren a couple of weeks ago. They spent a lot of time chasing nanny through the woods!! Tired them out good and proper. LOL

Hope you stick around and please to meet you

    Hi Carol,
Nice to meet you and a big welcome to the forum. They are a great bunch on here and I have learnt so much since I joined the forum.
Great to see you posting and finding your way round the forum. It is so good not to feel you are on your own and only have to ask and someone will be about to help and offer support.
