Thanks for all your replies and suggestions.

Stickywicket- I too only take lansoprazole without food, all other meds are taken with or asfter.

Tillytop and Elnafin - When I said consultant I meant rheumy. My symptoms can last all day, not just mornings.

Theresa4 - I don't feel like this everyday just now and again but without any warning. As far as I know they've checked blood sugar, but I will ask.

Still feeling bad this morning, not sleeping well. and only eating small amounts, dry biscuits etc.

Sue x

nanasue, if it were me I'd go to my GP. Even if he/she didn't seem interested before I think you shouldn't let it go. Show them what you told us. I hope you soon feel better.

I agree, you should return to your gp or ask to see another one and if no joy, ask to be referred to a gastroenterologist. There is no harm in asking and if they do not wish to refer you, you should ask why and get a reply to your question.

Something is clearly not right and the problem should be addressed. It is of course worrying you, and the gp should be made well aware of how it is making you feel, both mentally and physically.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Have you tried the meal replacement shakes? Maybe see if you could see a Dietitian? I have a friend who is a Dietitian would you like me to ask her for ideas for you?

    Hi Sue,

That's not good flowr and you need to get it sorted really. I think see the gp and ask for a referral to the gastro's, don't leave it to the gp to suggest it you ask to be referred as this one is not good and does need sorting out. Keep us posted and hang in there. Cris x
